Great-great-grandparents Googling me
\njust checking in
\ncork thick-thumbed after
\nAfter Life.
\nPop.
\nAnd every time they’d Google me
\na bell would go off.
\nSome bright blue bell,
\nthat would hover right behind my head.
\nIt’d be like “g,” and then they’d go to the bathroom.
\nThe After Life bathroom.
\nAnd then “o” and they’d go to the bathroom again.
\nSo for the whole thing
\nthere’d be three weeks maybe even four weeks
\nin between bright blue bells.
\nAnd that’s how it all went down from start to finish.
\nOnly with some work stuff thrown in that I left out here
\nand a biplane explosion with my uncle on the plane.
\nHe walked away unscathed, heroic smile
\nand the flames still ripping at the tarmac.
\nHe gave me a heroic hug
\nbut that’s not the crazy thing.
\nThat’s not even close to being the crazy thing.
