He sang this one last weekend while puttering around his bedroom. To me, it sounds sort of like something written in 1200 BCE and then translated in the 1950s.<br \/>\nI should also mention that I told him I&#8217;d be posting this and asked him what he wanted his &#8220;Vortex&#8221; name to be. (My daughter is codename <a href = \"https:\/\/capellman.com\/cecil1215a\/swath\/2004\/11\/06\/in_my_blue_house.html\"><b>&#8220;Shonny Vortex,&#8221;<\/b><\/a> my brother adopted <a href = \"https:\/\/capellman.com\/cecil1215a\/swath\/2005\/03\/28\/project_funtime_challenge_project_presents_straight_up_cauliflower.html\"><b>&#8220;Jake Vortex&#8221;<\/b><\/a> when he played sax on a couple of tracks a while back.) So anyways, he considered &#8220;Fire Vortex&#8221; and &#8220;Ice Vortex&#8221; before settling on &#8220;Power Vortex.&#8221;<br \/>\nWho am I to argue with a boy named &#8220;Power&#8221;?<br \/>\n<b>Do You Love Bad Guys the Best?<\/b><br \/>\nby Power Vortex<br \/>\nLet us live and win the battle.<br \/>\nLet us lie under the stars.<br \/>\nGod, why is this happening?<br \/>\nYou say no to everything.<br \/>\nPlease let us win the battle.<br \/>\nSo when will you say yes?<br \/>\nThen we&#8217;ll win the battle.<br \/>\nOr do you love bad guys the best?<br \/>\nIs it for the good and the bad?<br \/>\nIs it for the bad and the good?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s another libretto that spilled out of my soon-to-be-seven-year-old son.
