searching and replacing?
Because I spend a lot of time searching and replacing
and I wonder if that was a big part of his life too?

he would use pencils or pens dipped in fine ink, cut and paste shapes, was alot more primitive than you, you are funnier, and a hell of a lot stronger and quick with the guitar pick.

I bet it drove him crazy when MS Word replaced his “ee”s with “Ee”s. But then, he probably used one of those tablet pc’s…

Actually, believe it or not, my understanding is that the whole “ee” thing was a bit of a scam inflicted on the world by his publishers. According to one of my EE/ee cummings books (I’d have to check the shelf at home), his own preference was for EE.
