Really-quite-astonishing fact #2: Back in the ’60s, this selfsame so-called “Creed Bratton” was a member of the band “The Grass Roots,” best known for their hit “Let’s Live for Today.” Creed in turn was best known as “bandmember most likely to streak.”

I thought they were mostly known for “Midnight Confession.” This site sucks.

It’s not every day you get an angry comment in defense of a sweet song like Midnight Confession (“In my midnight confession / When I tell all the world that I love you / In my midnight confession / When I say all the things that I want to / I love you”).
